My educational qualifications are B.E (Hons); MBA; diploma in material management; Diploma in computer applications; Diploma in industrial safety. All degrees and diplomas are with university rank.

I have undergone training from Administrative Staff College of India in Industrial Risk Management and Environmental Management.

I worked for 4 years in Tamil Nadu electricity Board as JE.

I worked for 34 years in Indian Oil Corporation (Marketing Division). I headed southern region safety and environment department for about 4 years. Later I worked in HO Safety for about 3 years. During this period I have carried out safety audit for almost all the marketing location of IOC in India. I was Deputy General Manager in charge of Karnataka POL locations and also safety coordinator for the entire state covering all functions including LPG and aviation. I was Deputy General Manager (Marine) in charge of safety and pollution control related to sale of marine products in southern ports.

I have the following approvals.

1) In 2008, I have been approved by Tamil Nadu government for conducting safety audit in      

    hazardous chemical industries of Tamil Nadu.

2) In 2009 PESO (explosives department) of government of India have approved me as the

    competent person under Rule 126 and 130 for testing tanks and for   issuing safety  

    certificate for petroleum locations, and as recognised engineer for certifying tank

    trucks for part B of forms VII & VIII of petroleum Rules 2002

3) In March 2009, I have been approved by National Safety Council and have been    

     empanelled on the Panel of External Experts for conducting Safety audit.

In the last one year I carried out third party safety audit for several companies in oil and gas including IOC and HPC. I also carried out safety audit of fertilizer units, heavy engineering plants, Thermal power stations, and biological industries.

I carry out audit as per OISD 145 and as per IS 14489.
